About the Women in the 1% Research Report
Did you know that only 5% of the top 1% of income earners in the US are women? If the US were a big cake, the 1% earning men are the frosting, while the 1% women are the sprinkles on top of the frosting. Of the 1.5 million US households in the top 1%, which is about $750k on average, only 5% of them have a woman earning enough on her own to qualify. That’s about 75,000 women in the US total.
